The White family have been running Maddybenny Farm since the 1950's since then the farm has diversified with the farmhouse Bed & Breakfast in 1984, then the riding school shortly after then in the purpose built self catering holiday cottages.
Maddybenny means “sanctified or holy post”. The farm house dates from the 1600s, when it was built as a plantation house on the lands belonging to the Earl of Antrim. The first Presbyterian Minister, Rev. Gabriel Cornwall, lived here.
Maddybenny is situated 2 miles from the seaside resorts of Portrush and Portstewart. Coleraine town centre with the shops and University are less than 5 miles. It truly is a wonderful area for touring, sightseeing or just relaxing.
